What is How to Blow Up Your Life?
I’m glad you asked.
Blowing up your life isn’t about one thing; It’s not about getting divorced (though I have), it’s not about getting sober (though I’ve done that too), it’s not even about the changes that you need to make in your life when you go through menopause, or the little baby adults leave the nest (though we talk about all of that here as well).
Blowing up your life is about changing the paradigms of what you believe is possible. So you can live a life better than you ever imagined.
Maybe something has happened - an inciting event. A divorce, an affair, a death, a job loss - Or maybe it’s just a general feeling of dissatisfaction. But, something has happened that makes you question yourself, your life choices, your everything. You wonder if you’re living the life you really want to live. Are you living for yourself? Or someone else? Do you even know what you want? You wonder if there is a better, more satisfying life out there somewhere.
But you’re not sure where to start.
I give you weekly advice to guide you as you figure it all out - to plant the seeds of possibility so you can move forward in a life that is authentically you.
I’m building a community of women who want to evaluate their lives with grace and honesty. Who want to blow up what’s not working and cling to what will. You don’t have to go it alone.

About Me
Ok - so clearly, you know, I write this Substack. But did you know I’m also a storyteller and certified life coach? Like you, my path to this point has been anything but straightforward. I've faced my share of challenges—from a crumbling marriage, a failing business, a bankruptcy, and then figuring out how to build a new life from scratch—and along the way, I've discovered that the journey of recovery (recovering yourself, that is) is one wild ride. My experiences have taught me that the key to happiness isn't avoiding challenges; it's embracing them and finding your true self through them.
With my certification in The Adult Chair model, I guide women through the reclamation process, helping them uncover their true selves, recover from past traumas, and embrace the joy that comes with living authentically. My approach is raw, honest, and irreverent. If that sounds like your thing, I'm here to share the lessons I've learned and offer support along the way.
Oh, and the storyteller part? I sometimes dabble in the storytelling scene here in NYC. Performing in LoveNotes! (A production by Heather Christie), in February 2024, performed at the Center at West Park. And Generation Women, April 2024, as well as the 2024 Generation Women Best Of show, performed at the iconic Joe’s Pub. Look for more to come!

I adore and appreciate you and all you have coached me through. You helped me navigate a surprisingly grievous separation and divorce, all while stepping into an equally surprising six-figure career. Leading me into a liberating new beginning and hopeful future for me and my kiddos!

Sara’s presence as a coach is very grounded. She has exceptional listening skills and is very intuitive. Sara made me feel safe, open, and honest so that I could express my emotions and feelings. Her inner child work was transformational. She made me feel relieved and new. Thank you, Sara!!!
—Rakes, L
Sara has done her own work, which allows her to be more understanding in guiding her clients to find their own truth.

Sara held space for me so beautifully. I was able to open up and be completely raw with her. This session is exactly what I needed to shift my energy and gain a new perspective.

Sara is a wonderful coach! This was my first session, and I did not know exactly what to expect or what we would be working on. And after just one hour I feel a motivation from within to work toward a goal but also warmth, kindness, and encouragement about how to get there, and maybe even with a side dish of self-love and appreciation along the way.
—Caroline B
Sara was able to intuitively discern that there was a ‘hidden’ part I was dealing with! It also helped me to understand ‘parts of us’ and So much more through my experiential time in this session.

I was SUPER anxious about all the things in my life, and within a few minutes, I got to the root. I didn’t even know I was there, and I was like, holy shit, I didn’t even know the real reason behind all of my anxiety. My little girl is afraid of not being loved, a fear I didn’t even know I had. It was really eye-opening!
