Sara, I totally agree! (And I am sorry you are not feeling well.) Gratitude doesn’t seem to nail what we need or what we are capable of. Overused and diluted, yes.

I have been railing against the gratitude train for a while. It's heavily merchandised and for that reason alone, it's completely over-hyped. Sure, go ahead and be grateful for things, but you should also be ungrateful, especially for things that must be changed. Some of the best inventions came from a lack of gratitude. I appreciate your post, Sara!
