Oh my god, I can SO relate. I finally figured out how to take a screenshot on my laptop but then, like you, had no clue how to find it. I’m sure I had to ask one of my kids. I’ve probably already forgotten how to do it.

The thing is, I’m not even embarrassed about this anymore so does that make me

even older than you? 😆

lol - maybe you’re better at acceptance than me.

It’s kind of a joke with my kids at this point!

I’m fighting this battle too and I work in IT!!! Seriously though, my mom once told me that after 50 (at work) she could do everything she knew how to do well, but learning new things felt increasingly harder. It’s been haunting me ever since. It feels like I’m smart enough to figure this out but I end up in the same scenario you described, wasting an hour working it out and then I’m so exhausted afterwards. Send help!

I spent an hour last night trying to find a word doc to attach to an email...

Samesies! But also, the updated iPhone photo app is a disaster, I can't find anything either. Therefore, it's not us, it's the app that's the problem.

I use an app called Just Watch to find where a show or movie is streaming. It has a free version. It’s pretty accurate.

Hahaha! I totally hear my daughter taking on the same tone with me that I have done with my parents in the past— this sort of “patient” puzzlement. Really? How are you not following these extremely easy instructions?

and holy moly, I got the not feeling old but piece.

We got this! It’s technology that’s flawefor sure

I know! Honestly, I kind of feel bad about how (im)patient I've been with my parents. Yes! We've got this! Let's start a support group.

I adore this not because I'm losing the tech battle (I'm not, really, STOP IT, I said I'm not!) but more so because it underlies all of what I've been feeling about perimenopause. I don't feel old, but I do feel like my body and my brain are losing some sort of battle. And I've noticed people in their 30's but especially people in their 20's really don't want to hear about it, but it's all anyone my age can talk about! That makes me feel old. Oh, and losing the remote. Like, how can you even fight the tech battle if you can't find the f*#king remote?!? Sigh...now I need a nap. 💗 and solidarity 💪

Thanks, Jess. Certainly, we can't be old, right? No, that can't be it. I'll see you after my nap.

Definitely not it, but that 26-min snoozer was life changing! That I know.
